Chris Moran is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Troutman Pepper Locke LLP, based in the firm’s Philadelphia office. His practice focuses on labor and employment litigation and counseling, with a particular emphasis on colleges and universities. Chris counsels educational institutions on complex employment matters, including tenure processes, investigations, compliance with state and federal employment laws, employee hiring and separation decisions, and policy development. He also routinely represents higher education clients in connection with employment litigation and complaints before various state and federal agencies. Chris is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. He received his B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University in 1983 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 1992.
