Before transitioning to higher education, Laura worked in the nonprofit sector as an educator and educational advocate for court-committed youth. Laura brings extensive experience in first-generation student support, B2B education pathways, academic program development, regulatory compliance, disability and accessibility practices, Title IX, adult learner engagement, strategic and operational planning, enrollment and financial aid management, and crisis management. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of New England, where she leads doctoral courses in change management, policy analysis, research methods, and dissertation development. Previously, she taught coursework on law, policy, criminal justice, and corrections at the undergraduate level. Laura holds a BA in English and Spanish, summa cum laude, from Regis College. She received her MS, Justice Studies from Suffolk University. She earned her EdD, Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of New England. Based in the Boston area, Laura volunteers within her local community and serves on a patient and family advisory council for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. |
