Robert B. Farrell was appointed General Counsel at the University of Scranton in 2010 with the additional role of University Secretary in 2015. Dr. Farrell has practiced law for over 30 years with extensive legal and management experience in university, municipal and nonprofit settings. Over his career, he has specialized in higher education, municipal, employment, labor and corporate law. Dr. Farrell oversees all University legal affairs and is responsible for Scranton's overall legal strategy. He serves as a member of the President's Cabinet and advises the President, Board of Trustees and the administration on a wide range of legal matters.Prior to working at the university, Dr. Farrell worked in government, private law practice, and served as a judicial law clerk.
