Arturo Gutierrez-Zatarain

Arturo Gutierrez Zatarain joined UBF as a Director of Investments in September 2022.

Prior to joining UBF, Arturo served as Sr. Investment Officer at High Ground Advisors (HGA), an institutional OCIO firm based in Dallas, Texas. At HGA, he was primarily responsible for strategy development, capital markets research, manager research, portfolio construction, risk management, and general analytical support for the Investment Department. Before joining HGA, he was an Investment Performance Analyst at the Southern Methodist University Endowment.

Arturo holds a BS in Economics from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and an M.A. in Applied Economics from Southern Methodist University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), and holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®).

Arturo is a member of the CFA Institute, the CAIA Association, and the CFA Society Buffalo.
