His background includes responsibility for numerous operational areas of the academy including Finance, Budget, Accounting, Audit, Bursar, Financial Aid, and Endowment Management; Facilities Management; Information Technology; Athletics; Enterprise Risk Management; Human Resources; and Auxiliary Services including Dining Services in a contracted and self-operated business model. He holds a BA in Communications from the University of Connecticut, an MBA in Finance from Sacred Heart University, a Professional Certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions from Columbia University, a Professional Certificate in Behavioral Finance from the University of Chicago, a Professional Certificate in Disruption Theory from Harvard University, and a Professional Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Association of College Business Officers (EACUBO) and serves as the Program and Services Chair, and is on the Board of Directors for Swipe Out Hunger, the leading organization combating higher education food insecurity, and New Haven Promise. He also served as the former President of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) East Region and President of the SUNY Auxiliary Services Association (SASA). He has also delivered over 60 national and regional presentations, webinars, and podcasts focused on numerous higher education topics impacting the industry's business model, including serving as a contributor to the EDUCAUSE Executive Leadership Academy – Finance Module. |
