Nancy Moore

Director, US Public Finance Ratings, Fitch Ratings

Nancy Faingar Moore is a Director in Fitch’s U.S. Public Finance Department and a member of the Higher Education and Non-Profit Institutions Group. Based in New York City, she joined Fitch in 2012 after building an extensive career in public finance and investment banking. Prior to Fitch, Moore served as a vice president in the credit risk group at BNP Paribas Fortis, supporting public finance and structured credit teams. She also held senior analyst positions in the public finance divisions of Dexia Credit Local and Financial Guaranty Insurance Company. Moore earned a master’s degree in education from Hofstra University after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies. She is an active member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York and Northeast Women in Public Finance.
