Patrick has more than 20 years of experience serving a variety of higher education, real estate, construction, retail, not-for-profit, employee benefit plan, and professional services clients. Patrick has advised his clients in the higher education space on a variety of topics including budgetary process improvements, benchmarking analysis, fraud and other investigative matters, adoption of new accounting pronouncements, navigating program reviews and related uniform guidance matters, and more.

Patrick is responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of accounting and advisory related services to all of his engagements. These responsibilities require knowledge of clients and their industries, strong project management skills, the ability to develop distinctive client relationships, familiarity with financial reporting requirements and key technical pronouncements, and an understanding of the operating and internal control risks and concerns of the entities served.

In addition, Patrick focuses on providing timely, pragmatic, and insightful feedback on business risks and opportunities for improving and adapting to evolving regulatory environments. He works closely with the firm’s integrated resources to ensure that his clients receive well-researched guidance on the many ways issues may impact them.

Patrick also has a passion for technology and process improvement and seeks to bring those ideas to his clients as part of his commitment and passion for seeing his clients continue to evolve and improve.
